Before you register you need to make sure that you have read the
RULES. Once you've done that you then need to check the
NAMES DIRECTORY and make sure that the ooc name that you're going to be using as your username is not in use (Remember to register as ooc1 since it's your first character!).
Once you have registered you can start developing your character's biography! Your character's biography is located in your user page (profile). Once you're at your profile you click on 'edit profile' and then click on the tab called 'personal.' Scroll down and you will see the biography fields you will need to fill out.
Pack: Your character will always start off packless. In order for your character to be part of a pack, s/he needs to roleplay in the pack's board with the thread title's tag as (N) which stands for newcomer. However, that pack may reject your character for whatever reasons. Usually if the pack is full. Comes with a drop down.
Rank: Your character's rank should be loner. When you claim your ooc name in the names directory a moderator will edit your profile to that rank. Comes with a drop down, but only staff can access it.
Level: Your character starts off at level 0. Levels determine how strong you are and play a role in fights. The leveling system works like this. Everytime you level up add one more thread to complete. So if your level 0 and it takes one thread to level up, if you're level 1 it takes two threads to level up, if you're level 2 it takes 3 threads to level up, and so on. Comes with a drop down, only staff can access it.
Age: Your character can be however old you like, but this doesn't mean that your character will start off at a high level. You should PM a staff member about what your character's level should be if they're older than 3 years. Comes with a drop down.
Gender: Self-explanatory. Comes with a drop down.
Species: Make sure that your character's appearance matches the species. It comes with a drop down so you can figure out which wolf species you'd like your character to be. Comes with a drop down.
Build: Determine your character's build with the drop-down. Height and weight. Comes with a drop down.
Roleplayer: Fill this field with your ooc name. So if your ooc name is Jessica put that in there.
Now you're done with the required fields!
The following fields below are not required, so you can skip over them to the last bit.
Relationships: You can fill this field with relatives, mates, friendships, etc.
Personality: Positives and negatives of your character.
History: If you're like me...just put links to threads you've rped in as that character, or you can just write a whole bunch of back story to your character and update it as you go along.
Alright, you finished our character's biography and the very least filled out the required fields. Now it's time to go back to the
NAMES DIRECTORY and post your username so they can add you. A mod will then edit the profile fields s/he can only, and then you're all set to start role-playing!
Currently there aren't any packs yet, so all of the territory is safe to pass through (well as safe as it can be with loners, but some loners do claim some territory to themselves). You can always go to the
CHARACTER DIRECTORY board and plot and post wanted ads.
